Program Qualifications:
The required qualifications to be a Mentor are:
1. Colorado attorney, judge, or LLP, with an active license, in good standing, and engaged in the practice of law; or retired Colorado attorney or judge, who retired from the practice in good standing.
2. Admitted to the practice law in any jurisdiction for not less than five years.
3. No suspensions or disbarments from the practice of law from any jurisdiction, nor surrender of license to practice law for purpose of disposing of pending disciplinary proceeding in any jurisdiction.
4. No sanction by a governing authority in the five years preceding application as a Mentor.
The mentoring relationship is a professional relationship. It does not contemplate and is not intended to create a formal association or attorney-client relationship between the mentee and the mentor.
To obtain 9 CLE credits (including 2 ethics credits), mentees must successfully complete a CAMP Mentoring Plan and submit that plan to the CAMP office for approval.
Before any match is made, CAMP takes the time to get to know you. Our team has a one-on-one conversation with every mentor to understand your background, goals, and what you hope to gain from mentoring.
Once you create your profile, you’ll be invited to schedule a pre-match consultation—ensuring your mentoring experience is meaningful, personalized, and designed for success.
